A Fascinating Story, A Unique Journey

Since the 1970s, Cevital has expanded its impact in Algeria, combining innovation, diversification, and strategic vision for sustainable and ambitious development.

At the origins of Cevital

The Cevital story finds its roots in the 1970s, with the acquisition of a small metal construction company. This first milestone paved the way for a bold entrepreneurial journey that would lead, in 1998, to the official creation of Cevital SPA.
Since then, the group has continued to grow and diversify, gradually investing in strategic sectors such as agri-food, home appliances, construction, logistics, services, and more recently, energy transition. Each decade reflects a clear vision: anticipating economic changes, building an integrated industrial model, and contributing to the modernization of Algeria’s economy.
Today, with more than 18,000 employees across three continents, Cevital embodies the story of an Algerian success that has become a symbol of innovation and sustainable development in North Africa, driven by strong family values and social responsibility.
